For the Love of Music

Once again my love for vintage, pretty in pink and flowers inspired me for a dreamy soft shoot.

Myself and my very talented friend Monica got our brains together and produced a styled shoot called ” For the Love of Music”.

I used many of my antiques props and my background in styling to produce this shoot. Together with many of my favourite wedding vendors in Dubai.

A series of love stories that is being publish on Joelle’s blog, from My Lovely Wedding.

I feel so happy to be able to express my art and my emotions through photos, and I hope you enjoy seeing the images, as much as I enjoyed creating them and photographing.

Surprise Proposal at the Beach

What could be more romantic than a proposal at the Beach?!?

In a beautiful Dubai beach, with Burj Al Arab on the background and a magical, S & L had a dream surprise proposal.

Everything was beautifully organized and crafted by lovely Doua (wedding planner and event stylist), from The Eventista. She took care of every detail.

The theme was rustic chic. The colours were a hue of blue and yellow!  The amazing cake from Cup N Cakes Dubai, gave an extra special touch.

Wishing you both a life of joy, love and happiness together.

Hope you feel the love <3

Styled shoot - Rusty wood - 162

The Rusty Wood – Beautiful wedding Styled shoot

Many talented Dubai vendors got together to bring this beautiful and colorful wedding set up – The Rusty Wood.

It is good to see that it is possible to have bright fun colours, and still have a classy and pretty look.

The history behind this photo session:

It was organised by a great planner Rania. Bright colours from Valentino Flowers, some rustic elements from the pretty and spacious venue Saladicious, like wood and raffia, together with earthy tones of yellow, orange and red.  A beautiful dress from Contessa, cute wooden signs from The Party, lovely gifts and accessories from My list and O`de Rose, the most amazing and high end stationery from Creative Box Dubai, together with beautiful table linens from Table Tops Dubai. The cherry on the top is the beautiful strawberry blond bride Marie J., with a sweet smile, and having professionally  hair and makeup done by Siham, that enhanced her beauty.

All captured by me, Paula Scalco, always giving a soft, sweet and vintage feel for the photos.

Before the summer and heat arrived in Dubai, I had the pleasure to be part of an amazing styled shoot.

The colour scheme was a bit different than the usual soft pastel colours. And what an amazing results.

The venue at a Penthouse in Palm Jumeirah-Dubai made the perfect place to photograph.

The models were amazing, and every detail just made it perfect. From the organizer, to the perfect flowers, furniture, hair and make up, and amazing cake as a cherry on the top. List of vendors and where it has been featured below.

Ticket to Ride – 60`s Inspired shoot

A while back, mylsef and my lovely friend and amazing Hair and Make up artist Monica got together to make part of a collaboration. We enrolled with a course with Mastered, a talent company for creatives, and together created a  vintage story that  became real behind my lens. I love everything vintage, vinyl, my favourite band is The Beatles and I collect antiques. With all this in mind, our mini photo shoot happened!  As a model the beautiful and strong blogger beauty Helia was our model for the day.

Hope you enjoy the images, and take a ride back to the 60`s. Put your old record old, feel the vibe and enjoy <3

Cocoville – Handmade fine chocolates Dubai

This job is the sweetest I have ever done – literally ! I had the pleasure to photograph both the new catalogues of chocolates and food plus some lifestyle and venue shots of Cocoville – a chocolate shop and restaurant in Dubai. The place reminds me of a French home. It was very cosy, very cute, with soft colours and beautiful furniture. The chocolate is locally produced and made right there, by the chocolatier Chef Coco (yes, that is his actual name!). Enjoy the sweet photos and if you are really craving for it go to the beautiful shop and be in Chocolate Heaven!
