I love photographing details, products, jewellry and a pretty set of crockery.
My love for stylings comes from my background of being an architect and my love for vintage from when I did a specialisation in Italy restoring old buildings.
I love putting some nice pieces together, adding a vintage touch, making them as pretty as possible and letting the magic happen.I love adding fresh flowers as it always makes everything prettier and romantic.
Below is a collection of some of the work I have done for brands in the UAE, both styling and photographing. The vintage props used are from my personal collection of antiques that I have been collecting over the years (and I am very proud of).
My love for vintage, pretty things and pink just keeps growing everyday.
I have a burgeoning collection of antique props and I am so happy to have used my darling typewriter that I bought from an auction in Ireland <3
I styled and photographed this beautiful photo shoot, together with some of my friends and colleagues from Dubai’s wedding industry. Monica www.mhgbeauty.com is responsible for the “plot” of the “Love Letters” shoot and for the amazing hair and make up.
Vanila studio www.vanilastudio.ae provided the gorgeous bridal dress, veil and accessories. They always have the right dress for the right occasion and type of wedding. Blossom Tree www.blossomtreedubai.com created the perfect bouquet for this shoot.
You can read more about the shoot and this love history on My lovely Wedding blog
What a pleasure to photograph Hassan & Zainab`s wedding. A lovely couple, that choose to do a local Emirati wedding with a twist. A gorgeous outdoor wedding that took place at the beautiful Desert Palm hotel, in Dubai. The planning was done by the amazing team of The Purple Chair, that created a rustic chic decoration, with beautiful colours. The flowers were abundant and many wooden elements were used. The cherry on the top: the kosha! One of the prettiest I have ever seen. Wishing this amazing couple a future live together,as pretty as they are <3
When you photograph your dream bride; with a vintage look that brings you back in time.
In this photo session I was able to dream and incorporate so many elements that I love. I styled it with some vintage objects that I collect, and my love for antique can be seen. The back light was magical and let me put that extra soft and dream look in the photos, that I always look for.
Together with a dream team, magic happened! Monica from MHG beauty did the perfect hair and make up, and recreated perfectly a glamorous vintage look, with a modern twist. Vanila Wedding Boutiqueprovided the most perfect Helen Miller dress and beautiful accessories. Green and white flowers by Flowers Blossom Tree were so fresh and perfect for this shoot. The blog is up on the always lovely My lovely wedding Blog.
I hope you enjoy as much as I do. So put your vinyl on, turn the volume up and enjoy it.
I took part in this amazing project of the launch of a new brand called Rock Box www.getrockbox.com
The shoot took place in the amazing and very exclusive hotel Zaya Nurai Hotel in Abu Dhabi www.zayanuraiisland.com. The place is like a magical Island and the boat drive to get to the hotel is unbelievable. The private villa with its own pool and modern decor was the perfect setting for the photos.
Hair and makeup on the bride and bridesmaids models were beautifully done by lovely Monica www.mhgbeauty.com
Flowers were provided by the always amazing Firenze Flora, that carefully choose greens and bright colours www.firenzeflora.com
As you can imagine by my website, I love everything that is pink, sweet & vintage.
So I was over the moon to get to photograph this cute Afternoon Tea session, in one of my favourite places in Dubai – Spontiphoria Boutique & Cafe.
An afternoon tea with the girls is always a good idea! Specially when you get pampered first, and have your hair done! After you can chitchat and enjoy all the details. Beautiful cakes, delicate wooden toppers and cute table decoration. All complimented by vintage books, fresh flowers and the most beautiful mix of crockery!
Hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed spending an afternoon in this hidden gem of Dubai <3
Dubai has beautiful winters…! And what a better way to celebrate love than a winter sunset at the Beach! The lovely couple Vitoria and Tiago are very stylish and have a love for folk and dark colours. So I choose a theme that would suite their style! And the cherry on top, a guitar, an antique camera and hot chocolate with mellows! Just fall in love with it…
